An amusing plot on it's own right. However i did in fact have issues with the characters. Every writer knows that the characters are the most important aspect in any work of fiction. I chose 9th as my favorite because was to me, by far the best written character. When you try to write a character that is suffering, there is a line that goes from enduring the pain and trying to do what is right, or just being a bitch the entire time. Yuki was the latter character. It seemed that every time he seemed to make some progress into development. It was a thee steps forward, and then 5 steps back. I have the feeling that this show would have been a lot better off if it was just left at about a 12 episode length, Most psychological/ thriller genres are supposed to be a bit messy, but then everything gets sorted out in the end with thorough explanations. However every time this show tried to explain something, they did a pretty crappy job, which in all fairness just frustrated me and i would have less frustrated just being in the dark.
This was not my favorite of it's genre and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
