I liked the idea of having the MC as a character that isn't strong or ''cool'' because those can get pretty boring/annoying ya know? But with the MC in Mirai Nikki, I almost was with the all ''enemies'' sides on this one. Kill this weak and whining bastard. I get it, the writer is trying to make him..less..cliche..or what you'd normally expect. But Yuki is nothing but a whining baby. Literally, throughout the entire anime (except maybe the last few episodes) he just has Yuno protecting him. It's quite a pitful sight. I could see if he manned up by the middle of the anime, but I had to wait until the VERY END for that boy to realize that he's got to fight SOMETIME within the game. That being said, the fight scenes include literally nothing but Yuki crying to Yuno on how she shouldn't kill recklessly, and Yuno saying ''It's okay Yuki...I'll protect you''. Honestly the only reason I gave this anime a 6 was for the the side characters because I was mainly annoyed with our main pair.
I even remember me dropping this anime for a while, only because I was thoroughly annoyed and thought I wouldn't be able to finish it. But like I mentioned earlier, if it weren't for the side characters, I wouldn't of been able to finish it...and I have to say they weren't any good either. It was tough trying to feel sorry for their deaths when I barley knew them. I didn't care about them at all to be honest. I just wanted to watch them torture Yuki.
Art was okay, nothing really stood out to me.
Music was...eh. I did appreciate the openings, but other then that I was too twisted on the horrible characters I didn't have time to even listen to the soundtracks.
Overall, if you want to watch this anime don't wast your time unless you get a kick out of yandere and whining boys. That's literally all I got out of it.-senpai
