This series opens up with an introduction to the main character, Mirai. She was seen hating her parents and the world. She gets irritated all the time. Throughout the series we’ll see the development of her character, how she realize that she loves her parents, how she care more about her little brother. We get to see what she’s like and the changes that happened to her. It makes me closer to the character. The kindness of Yuuki and Mari also make me feel an emotional connection with them. The characters in this anime are just likeable.
The drama really grips me until the end. At the last episode, I cried. Before that, I only cry when watching pets dying scenes. Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is definitely in my favorite anime list.
