**Animation** there were no problems with the animations. At times I even felt chills run through my neck just cause how good the fighting was done. Overall very good especially seeing as it was from 2006.
**Sound** the soundtrack is really good, and the voice acting is also really good especially if you factor in that it was originally an Visual Novel which often means worse voice actors.
**Story** The story was overall well done, but at times felt like it jumped certain parts but all in all a good adaptation of a VN, something that can be hard to say nowadays.
**Characters** For the characters, well I kind of liked them kind of didn't, i guess, I liked Rin and Saber, but the "side" characters that was Sakura and Taiga Fujimura felt most of the time unnecesary and simply in the way.
As for the main character himself, Emiya Shirou. I simply did not like him, at all many of the times. He felt really sexist and on at the sam time he was kind of like the annoying typical shonen hero type who'd not kill anyone and do everything by himself. He felt childish and annoying.
**Enjoyment** During the first few arcs I really had a hard time actually watching the anime, it felt mostly like a drag and it was boring to watch. But as the anime went on i grew to like it and by no means is it a bad anime, it's was just really not what I thought it would be. Something that was said very good was " It's a 24 episode series with an animation budget for 12 episodes and a story that could have been 39 episodes long. You do the math." and that really is the story of the anime, Aditionally to me it also felt somewhat sexist which I personally disliked and I usually does not notice these stuff.
But all in all it's worth watching, if not for just this anime but for the coming sequels and cause of all the talk going on around the anime. But you should probably watch it when you have time and when you feel that there is no other anime that would take your time.
