This had me laughing out loud every episode, always put me in a great mood, and had me fall in love with each of the characters.
The animation is hilarious from the facial and body expressions to how a character can be romanticized one frame and quickly shown as comical in the next.
Every time I finish an anime like this I like so much, I think I can't find something that will hit me the same way, but I'm always proven wrong and this anime did that for me.
Lovely Complex is about a short student and a tall girl who are a comedy duo, but things get complicated when the tall girl falls in love with the short guy. Each character is very flawed and its great to watch them argue with each other. One narrative the show talks about are the types of relationships students have with each other, and how other people can't see them dating each other, when neither of them cares about the height difference.
Overall, if you like shouju anime, definitely check this one out, you won't be disappointed!
