Many people watch Elfen Lied and just think it's all about the gore and the abuse or nudity in it, but personally, if you just think about the plot, the characters, then you'll see that Elfen Lied is one of the most beautiful well-planned out anime/manga I have ever seen/read.

If you watch the anime, I highly suggest you read the manga, it's a little different than the anime!
