Claymore is much more than a simple shounen anime, it's a true masterpiece. The story resolves around this warrior (or Claymore) named Clare that works for this Organization with only a simple duty: to kill the monsters that feed on human flesh called Yoma. Through her jorney, accompanied by this really stupid boy that you just have to put with (cause he is necessary to the storyline), you come to know her past (Claymore is really awesome after episode 8), the reason why she is what she is and the friends and enemies she makes along the way.

The art is amazing. Although, at the beginning, they may all look alike, by the end of the first episodes you can distinguish every character.

The soundtrack is one of the best I have ever heard and fits perfectly with every scene.

The character development is something beyond imagination, with lots of twists and turns.

In the end, I have to say this anime is really good, but there is one exception. The end sucks, it's just horrible, and it totally kills the mood of the anime. However, the anime is still worth watching, just think of the ending as a filler and go read the manga (cause it's even better than the anime).
