Do you ever have that perfect fap session? The one where you try over and over again looking for that perfect ejaculation. While not being able to find the "perfect" ejaculation, you often find the one that's AMAZING but when you check MyFapList the people don't agree with you and only deem the serie- I mean masturbatory session an 7-8/10? That is what SaeKano is to me. That fap session you want to say is perfect but is afraid of criticism.

Now I'm the type of guy who would give Fairy Tale sh*t for having such a generic story line, but only being fun. To be honest, I'm pretty sure there are TONS of anime about an otaku male protagonist who wants to fulfill his dream of making a dojin game and accomplishes so with his harem, but the way Saekano executes said story in such a way that just has me dying with laughter. Of course, objective humor doesn't exist now does it? If this anime isn't funny to you the characters and the back stories might turn you on then (aaand we're back to fapping).

I am convinced that every girl in this show is best girl. All of the girls usually have clear motives and everyone's end goal is usually in sync (the girls anyway). The only girl I wasn't terribly fond of was the tsundere Eriri Spencer. She seemed VERY copy and paste, but Kato made up for that. Hell, if anything just watch for Kato. People who finished this series know that specific scene that most people will fall in love with Kato.

This is an A-1 Pictures anime. This has A-1 Pictures quality animation. Not that top notch animation matters much in this type of show, as niche as it already is, but as A-1 usually does, produces great animation and visually stimulating backgrounds (masturbation again)

I fell in love with the soundtrack of the show. The opening theme is meh, but holy sh*t is Aki's VA amazing. His VA is mostly known for voicing Kirito from Sword Art Online. I don't know if it's my fascination with Yukino from OreGairu or something, but I think Utaha's voice fits her character too well. Also, the second to last song played in this show, I thought it was lazy at first when I spoiled (fuck you reddit comments). This is because girls in anime aren't exactly the best singer, unless you're Hanazawa Kana or someone who voiced in Idolm@ster. However, immediately as that crowd popped I saw cheering with them holy shit my nostalgia boner was raised high.

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata definitely deserves a watch if you are a fan of shows like OreGairu and Inou Battle. I was left in tears of laughter after finishing this show.

FINAL VERDICT : 9/10
