My first review.
I watched Katekyo Hitman Reborn with an open mind. I heard a lot of good things about it and saw Tsuna in J-stars Victory VS. When I started it, I had fun watching the first episodes of it. But then I started to think it was getting old until I got to episode 20.
Story:10
Tsunayoshi Sawada, a clumsy, not-so-athletic middle-schooler that doesn't get good grades, gets chosen by the current Vongola boss and has to be trained by cursed, which makes him look like a baby, Arcobaleno named Reborn. He gets shot by Reborn with a dying will bullet, which will only work if he regrets anything before he gets shot. He gets different types of people for his team in future battles.
Art:10
Despite being made back in 2006 to 2010, the art style looks fantastic. There is a lot of things to notice in the place where the main characters are or even in the background. Even the main characters look perfect.
Sound:10
The soundtrack in the anime is awesome in the entire series. It even got to the point where I began to search up the soundtrack online. Even the opening songs are actually good and well done. My favorite opening song in KHR is opening 4 and my favorite in-anime soundtrack is either Tsuna Awakens or In Operation.
Character:10
Katekyo Hitman Reborn lets you know that it is a mix between an action and a comedy when it comes to the characters. The first 20 episodes makes sure you thoroughly know all of the main main characters, are Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto. There are a lot of characters in KHR. Especially during the Future Arc which introduces the most characters in the entire series. All in all, the characters are all cool.
Enjoyment:10
The amount of enjoyment is a lot as it starts to pick up. The fight scenes are really well done and will really start to get better in episode 74. It is an anime well worth the 3 months if watching and so glad I watched it.
Overall:10
The story is well written, the art is well drawn, the sound and characters are all original and cool, and it is really enjoyable. Even though it finished, I would really like to see a second series or a dub (even though dubs are bad) so more people could watch it. The anime really deserved the time I spent on it.
