I'm not saying it was a terrible series, the problem (in my opinion) lies solely in the fact that it was limited to 12 episodes. There was way too much of a story concept for such a short amount of time.
This lead to the storyline being sort of all over the place. I wouldn't say it's confusing, but there were a lot of moments where I was asking myself "what's going on now?".
The characters were great, I feel like in one way or another we can all relate to Takumi. The whole concept of delusions and reality coming together was a pretty cool idea. Unfortunately though, as I said, there just wasn't enough time to get the whole story across in an organized and simple fashion, and that's where they lost points with me in the end.
To conclude, the only advice I can give for people that are planning to watch this series - you'll enjoy it, but please don't go into it expecting an amazing, gripping and suspenseful anime.
