My second review gonna try to keep it brief here since my first was pretty lengthy..... but dont count on it i have a tendency to go on. (FINAL COPY HAD TO RE EDIT so i deleted the previous they are just about the same though)

Lovely Complex

Story- A love story between a boy(Otani) & a girl (Risa Koizumi) basically the story is between these two. Risa tries to find a boyfriend who she can love she has never dated or kissed anyone prior to that shes not the avg girl shes 172 cm tall which is tall for the avg highschool girl in japan. Otani is a person she walks home with they are like a comedy duo and best friends, he stands at 156 cm so Risa ends up falling for him eventually when they start to get closer and not as a comedy duo he rejects her at first and the story truly begins from their and her rocky 3 year journey to make Otani fall in love with her the same way she fell for him.

Art- The art was decent nothing too special but the expressions in characters faces at times were really well done and overall i thought the art was good but nothing special stood out. I give the art an 8/10 because again the anime was made in 2007 or so and back those years ago things werent looking all great as they do now it looked good for its time.

Sound- The music is ok never really won me over or anything so i thought it was decent for the entire anime. Although the music never won me over or anything mainly cuz i was paying more attention to the story the music goes with the scenes throughout the show. The opening is really nice as well.

character- The characters that really glue you in are otani and Risa so im gonna talk about them entertaining comedy duo funny alot throughout the show Risa goes through plently of character development when it comes to trying to be with otani failing and changing the way she thinks failing and not giving up and failing and just moving on shes also clumsy talks alot, cheery, funny.and hides her inner feelings. Otani is kinda static throughout the series he doesnt really change a whole lot but as hes pressed with questions and all his character changes to suit the scene which is always important and it turned out to be quite decent. Their are other characters but these where really the only two that glued you in the other supporting characters perform their roles well.

enjoyment- i enjoyed the anime quite a bit not a top 5 favourite probably a top 10 im a fan of romantic comedy animes as well as shoujo even though its not really "guy stuff" the show is enjoyable just for the fact that you want to see Risa get through the tough times and finally get what she deserved. Drama, suspense, laughter, the feels.

overall- 10/10 honestly its a suprise to me to the art is outdated because the anime is like 8 years old sound is good but not the greatest although the categories are not all 10's overall i thought it was the perfect romance anime and when you become emotionally attached to something thats when you know that it is really good.

FINAL JURISDICTION- Not your typical comedy, romance anime its alot deeper the story is really dang good and keeps you interested to see whats gonna happen next and really excells in the story area a somewhat kinda slow paced show when it comes to the love portion but fast paced in how they portray the years you will understand what i mean when you watch it and that is what really makes it stand out compare to other romantic animes while others jump to having love at first sight Lovely Complex's story gives you a great feeling when its all said and done and when hard work pays off you have nothing left but good things to say because you put in all your effort and received the outcome you deserved. I feel like calling it a masterpiece but im not gonna go there its just a really outstanding story that builds and builds and then gives you exactly what you want by the end.
