This anime is about a young girl named kochina, who believes she is a lifeless doll and as such is fueled off of ramen noodles (wait until you see her collection). She plays the kokkuri
game and summons an old spirit named kokkuri san, who sticks around because he is worried about her bad eating habits.
The story is absolutely average-in fact, there almost really isn't one, as it jumps around between events in the life of kochina, which are mostly screw around bullshit (in a positvely humorous way, i will add). I give it a 6 out of 1O because its pretty much what you expect.
The artwork is pretty simple too, but i do love it because it adds to the bullshit humor in the anime (e.g, kochina's face falling off when she tries to smile. Oh god the lolz, they hurt.) 7 out of 1O.
Sound-The theme song is the jazziest most disco ass awesome shit ever and i love it. the outro was fun too but not nearly as infectiously catchy. for that alone, i give it an 8 out of 1O.
For the most part the characters are just extremely quirky laughable bullshit. Anime, as always, has their extreme fucked up perv which would be inugami, who i eventually just decided i would have to like. Kochina is literally the most awkward yet kawaii motherfucker you will have met outside of clannad afterstory and i think there 15 times where i was in tears from laughter (such as the part where she uppercuts the bitch the flung an eraser at her. ). kokkuri himself is pretty much a maid who cleans up after shigarami's bullshit of whom you meet like 6 or 7 episodes in. who is by the way the greatest drunk ever made.8 out of 1O.
Despite any "technical flaws" in the anime it took itself far too seriously for me to even care and in all honesty if you want an anime just for bs humor then this is literally the perfect animqe for you. enjoyment is definetly a 1O but on technical overall i will give it an 8. definetly an awesome comedy for anyone whos into it.
