Start with the plot/sotry. It is good at least for me .. basically there are some kind of mutants with "vectors", invisible arms that can cut flesh in a blink of an eye and destroy everything on it's path.. kinda creepy? Well get used, this anime is creepy and i love it just the way it is becuase it get's really nice.
The art .. well it sucks. It's an old anime so compared with the recent animations, this one is nothing.. but we must not care about that because for who loves gore, you definitely need to check this one.
The characters .. well we do have development in the 2 main characters there .. and a good one in my point of view. But just one character is good enough for me to advise this show.. i'm talking about Lucy. This character makes this anime worth, trust me. I loved her, she has a unique story(a pretty dark one) I found no plot holes (gaps in the story, things with no sense) on her story, everything matches perfectly(i'm saying this because her actions are really WTF)
The sound .. it is just normal.. it makes the action good enough and the drama also good. It doesn´t suck but well it is not an amazing soundtrack. But really none of this factors matters if you like gore animes.. You will love this one for sure.. so don´t make your decision based on it.
Ultimately, this show is one of the best gore animes out there, if you are looking for one of this type, check this one, it is amazing. For those who never tried a gore, well start with this one, you will love it :D
