the story continues after the events of clannad with all the favourite characters from before and it still has its main theme of family in it and it does it the same way that clannad originally did it.
if you wish to watch this anime i have one suggestion for you to head take a whole lot of tissues for the end cause many people who watch it to become a blubbering mess (myself included),
