The characters and plot are typically what you'd find in a romantic comedy (the main character, his love interest, the big-breasted friend and the perverted side-kick), and it revolves around a guy named Kazunari Usa who falls in love with a quiet, introverted second-year girl named Kawai Ritsu. He moves into a boarding house only to find out that Kawai Ritsu also lives there, along with 3 others, Mayumi Nishikino, the big-breasted, seductive character who spends 90% of the series drunk or depressed due to everyone around her finding love except her, Sayaka Watanabe, a cute, "innocent" girl who is actually incredibly manipulative of guys and has some sort of perverted relationship with Mayumi. Then we also have Shirosaki, a perverted man in his late twenties or early thirties who seems to love anything to do with S&M.
This combination of characters bring a whole lot of laughter to the series which I enjoyed greatly. The style of anime is great, lively and very well drawn, along with the setting. For anyone looking for an anime to simply pass the time, or enjoy a good laugh, then you will enjoy this series. Personally, I hope a second series will be released, but I may be hoping for a little too much. Either way, this is a must-see for any romantic comedy fans!
