3rd time to write a review. Please tell me if there is something wrong with my review it will be a great help.

"aimai san-SENCHI" is the original romanji.
But for most people in the internet its
"I eat sausage" .....really internet

Before I start let me tell you guys a story. When I was in high school about during my 2nd year, I manage stumble across this anime and as you all may know the opening was catchy and caught my attention. I started singing "Motteke! Se-ra-fuku " all of the sudden in the class with my friends. Then all of my otaku friends went silent and one of them told me "YOU DO REALIZE THAT SONG IS ABOUT WANTING TO WEAR A SAILOR UNIFORM AND A CUTER SKIRT....". I stop singing and the whole group went silent so we just concluded that we never heard anyone singing and basically that never happened. So that is one of my regrets in life and now I'm closing it as part of my history that never happened!!!

Lucky Star is best described by the famous "Seinfeld" show quote " A show about nothing". Now before you dismiss this as another generic slice of life, which technically your right but in my defense its done good.

Story: 6/10

"Everybody's doing something, we'll do nothing." which is also a quote from Seinfeld that I'm pretty sure the creator of Lucky Star was thinking at that time he was making Lucky Star. This anime is plot-less or more appropriately there is no story because all the plot is in Miyuki, Right guys, No, okay I'll stop. Personally I always have high hopes for slice of life genre type of anime because I want to see them pull off the million dollar challenge and that is "To make normal everyday life events, interesting". So normally I have high hopes for this anime but it gives us the mundane yet fun events of life. Sure it is funny and comedic but i want something more interesting. I think of Lucky Star as a lower type of sitcom because it does feel like a sitcom but sitcoms have series of events that connects or has a relation to another event in one episode which is very interesting while Lucky Star is just a random collection of everyday life of different high school girls.

Art: 9/10

Well one word to describe the art, MOE!!!! I am losing my manliness as I was watching this anime specially whenever Tsukasa is making a Moe scene so I have to punch a wall to regain my manliness. Besides the art of the characters, the background and others are rather simplistic.

Sound: 10/10

It only have a random songs at the end but, Oh my God, the opening. The opening is titled "Motteke! Se-ra-fuku" and even if it is translated to English I still cannot completely understand the song. All I know about the opening is that it is catchy and one of my friend said it is about sailor uniforms and skirts.... Of all the catchy songs this one has tormented me because I sang this in front of my friends and its meaning is wanting to wear a sailor uniform and skirts. However it is still great because every time I hear Lucky Star that song is the first thing to play in my mind then suddenly I am singing it. WARNING THE OPENING WILL HAUNT YOU FOR YEARS

Character: 9/10

Though the show doesn't have a plot it still have some interesting characters From the first 4 character batch to the 2nd 4 character batch. I'll start with the 2nd batch:

Yutaka Kobayakawa- Our typical weak yet cheerful character. Her role is to be the innocent one and sometimes be in a running gag in the 2nd half where she is in a relationship with Minami, one of her classmates. Though I think of her as a 2nd Tsukasa because she sometimes play the Moe role but of course Tsukasa take the top, sorry Yu-chan.

Minami Iwasaki- Our silent yet lovable character. I can't say much about her besides the her overused running gag of "flat-chest" which is a hit and miss because I'm guy, I can't understand that much.

Hiyori Tamura- Our stereotypical otaku girl who likes yaoi to yuri. She delivers some gags from here and there which is cool to me.

Patricia Martin- Our stereotypical stereotype foreigner because she could not be more stereotype about Japanese. She basically learned Japanese from anime and manga which I'm pretty sure that the author thought about us otakus outside from Japan.

Then we have our 1st cast or our original favorite:

Miyuki Takara- Our favorite air-headed megane. i love her comedic scenes with her mother and the running gag in the dentist. Her running gags are comedy gold.

Konata Izumi- Our favorite and one of the best otaku girl we wish to exist. I love every scene with her which makes the scenes funnier.

Kagami Hiiragi- Our favorite tsundere character. I love her running gag about love and her tsundere tendency with Konata. Which bring one of my question " why are tsundere to Konata?"

Tsukasa Hiiragi- Our favorite clutz and moe girl. basically her role is the mascot girl. Sure she is not the best girl and the most comedic because Konata takes that spot but she is the cutest. She is my favorite girl and one of my WAIFU SO HANDS OFF.

the others are just normal folks in everyday life.

Enjoyment: 7/10

This show is easily forgettable even though it is very comedic, art of the characters are MOE-tastic, and the opening is catchy. It is a show about nothing so don't expect that much but just pure laughs. It is just everyday life of normal high school girls that sometimes we do and we find it funny. Also later on the series where they show new characters, which are the new 4 rehash characters, is unnecessary because we already love the old ones and they don't feel new at all. Nonetheless, just as I said it is like a sitcom only poorly made but still could deliver fantastic humor. If only they make one story per episode then those 24 episode won't look like a random series of events.

Overall: 8/10

Positive
-The Comedic moments will make you laugh hard.
-The art of the characters are cute!!!
-Catchy theme song that will be stuck in your head.
- The original 4 characters are good comedic ensemble

Negative
-It has no story or has no plot.
-The events happened in a episode feels like a random series of normal events of just normal people.
-They had a lot of awkward jokes in the later episodes.
-The new group that they try to introduce to us are typical to most slice of life anime and they are not as much as interesting as the 1st.
-Easily forgettable

Lucky Star is funny and also kinda overrated because it is easily forgettable but surely have fun and a good laugh afterwards.
