Knowing that a season 2 will be released I'm desperate for the storyline to follow the manga's. Tokyo ghoul is my most favourite anime & manga however the manga's ending really hit me deep. ------SPOILER------ When I finally reached the last few chapters I expected Kaneki to kick ass and slay Arima but my dreams and hopes slashed down the bin. When Kaneki wasnt re healing I became worried asf and then Kaneki's eyes were no longer there I kind of started to worry so much and then I reached the last few pages and totally bam through the head. Kaneki died. I cried the whole night and couldn't believe it. He obviously suffered so much and I expected him to get the much needed revenge on the CCG but nooooooooooo. Biggest troll award goes to....... SUI ISHIDA DAMMIT!!!! I've done plenty of research on this topic with little hope that Kaneki is alive. If season 2 decides to put Kaneki's death in it, I will mentally kill everyone.
