Yea it was very basic im not going to lie to any of you.
To be honest i started watching this because in the anime community there was no one who did not talk highly about this anime but honestly it was pretty bland. Seriously the mc has to be the most stereotypical and hypocritical dude ever. I honestly dont mind the corny i want to save everyone ideal but they just did such a bad job with the mc. And really the female characters were similar to that as a rock. They were all so bland and boring. But i had to finish it and i did. I might consider watching the prequel to this but im going to give it a lot of thought. If you guys want a good anime from the '06 period i recommend watching Code Geass. But really guys only watch this if you are very bored but honestly there are so many good animes and mangas out there that you should not waste your time with this.
