Despite being only 13 episodes, the plot that we were presented with was still very well done and you are clearly presented with the problems that the characters attempt to fix. Overcoming obstacles and witnessing and experiencing pain, there is defined character development. However, I believe that certain events occurred too quickly leaving the audience little time to experience the emotional turmoil. The death of certain characters happened to quickly and when the main character mourned for her friends, it consisted of only about 1, perhaps 1 1/2 of an episode.
While the plot was good, it was overall to rushed and I feel that the creators cut out scenes of character development to fit this into just 13 episodes.
However, despite my critique of the plot, I believe that the art style was fantastic. Sound effects and voice acting too were also great.
