STORY: 6.5/10
To be honest among fellow harem stories, it's rather simple and understandable. Basically, our male protagonist wishes for a life filled with romantic drama and gets exactly that. Now for some odd reason, it reminds me of another manga and or anime but I can't quite recall at the moment. (I'll update this review should it return to me) There's no clear defined story line that the manga follows but rather each chapter is a stand-alone and is composed of the crazy, damn near jealous-worthy ecchi situations our MC finds himself in. Enjoyable nevertheless.
ART: 6.5/10
Not amazing, not awful. Considering the years of release, it's actually rather decent. Despite spanning across several years the mangaka is consistent with the artwork. The designs for the female characters are drawn well enough to serve as eye-candy and the variety of character models are able to cater to many types of fan service audiences. It's quite evident that the mangaka focused more on the characters and accentuating details as they kept the backgrounds simple with just shading, toning and textures. Overall it was fitting to the cutesy presentation and mood of the story.
CHARACTERS: 6.75/10
This is a harem so of course there will be your typical cliche character archetypes. The awfully close little sister, the adorable and quick to be jealous childhood friend, the cat-girl who yearns for a master and etc. Despite the aforementioned, the I still enjoyed the interactions and antics of our characters. I don't recall any supporting characters, even as I skim through the manga to refresh myself for this review. So even if there were, it's quite evident that they aren't anything special. The characters do occasionally break the fourth wall which gave me some chuckles every now and then.
ENJOYMENT/OVERALL: 7/10
Despite being an easy target of criticism with cliche characters and predictable scenarios, I did still enjoy the chapters I was able to read. All in all, expect a quick and fun read. As I mentioned at the beginning, I have only read 9 of the 17 chapters available so I can't comment any further than that. Whether or not the last 8 chapters are good enough to increase the review scores, or at least stay consistent... is in the air for now.
