Mixed Feelings
Story: 6

This is my first time reading a manga with this sort of plot so naturally it seems kind of original to me. A rich girl having her legs disabled, what the hell is she gonna do? At the same time, she falls in love with her doctor. Interesting? Not really. Though I like the realistic elements of this story, it was really tedious for me. It was a bore for me to read this. To me, 15 chapters was too long. Yes I prefer slower paced stories but maybe that only applies to action for me. I've seen enough shoujo manga that I prefer the story to be quick paced. This however was too long for this manga.

Art: 6

Though released in 2004, the art still looks old. The art didn't appeal to me but it didn't make me turn away. To me, the art was average.

Character: 7

This is the story's strongest point. You see how a loss can affect a person, how sad and depressed they can be. Karin showed this. Not only this but her determination and change. Karin was annoying at the start of the manga, but at the end, you can look up to her. Though she was set back many many times, she never gave up. She changed for the better and I like to see that.

Her crush however, his type really angers me. I hate his character so much. I wish Karin ended up with someone better. Teppei, though everything was to reach his goal, his actions were still horrible. Though he might've been nice to Karin every now and then, he was still despicable.

Onto other characters, I loved how Shouni was so out there. My first impression of him was the same as most but later on, you grow to like him and his strange personality. Kiki is really cute but she hasn't been touched on a lot. So I can't exactly feel for her. Though I'm really glad that she was there for Karin and helped her out.

Enjoyment & Overall: 5-6

Like I said before, this manga was really tedious for me. The only thing that kept me going was the fact that I don't drop my manga and plus I was bored at the time. I prefer reading short shoujo manga to pass my time. Long manga like Gakuen Alice and Death Note keep me so hooked that I just can't stop reading and that's usually bad for me.

Basically, this is just your average shoujo manga. I don't see anything special, nothing too great yet nothing too bad. But if you're in need for a time killer, this manga can pull a few strings every now and then that can tear you up, go ahead and read it. But I do suggest only if you're bored.
