Many people are scared to watch this anime due to blood and gore. Which I must say really saddens me. This anime is absolutely amazing. Yes there is a lot of blood. But do not let that deter you from checking out this awesome anime.

the story line is amazing even though there is only 13 eps. I honestly think that there could have been more and the anime would not have suffered at all.

The art work I really loved. The creators did an amazing job at making Lucy look evil and innocent at the same time.

I loved the opening song. And the ending song is insanely catchy. The music through the anime is able to set the tone of each scene, and just adds.

Characters: Lucy is an amazing character that you want to hate in the first episode, but then as the anime progresses you can't hate here anymore. The "bad guys" of the show are portrayed very well, and you have no sympathy for them at all, and you want to kill them off as soon as you meet you.

Enjoyment. I laughed and I cried. Now if anyone knows me at all. I do not cry in many things. This is the first anime that I actually full out cried in. But it has a good mix of lightheartedness with seriousness for real life issues. which I need or an anime in order for me to enjoy it. If you enjoy any type of philosophy you will find it here. There are many issues that get brought up in such a way that make you think about it, but it doesn't dominate the anime.

Overall this is an anime that I strongly recommend for people to watch. If you do watch at least three episodes and really don't like it at all. Please tell me. Because I haven't yet met a person that didn't like Elfen Lied that watched to the end.
