Warning: This review is coming from someone who has probably watched a lot less anime than you. All the same, hope you find something in it :3

This is honestly the best romantic anime I've ever seen...yeah, if you look at my anime list there's not a whole lot to compare it to. But honestly this one blew me out of the water.

I feel the problem with a lot of ecchi (if this even counts as that) is that it will subordinate everything for the sake of fanservice. I'll admit, I was drawn towards this anime based on the fact that it was, yknow, hot - but I stayed for completely different reasons.

For a start the art is superb. Yeah, it's not too stylistic, but definitely not a rushed job either. The music was nice too (especially the closing song omg), but what this anime really has going for it is the characters.

Like, just to start, Akito's relations with the girls actually seem real enough for him not to want to go further with them. Like, he either has an obsessive sister, a pyschopath, his best friend, a nymphomaniac, a small girl or his boss XD It really sucks in harem anime where you're just like "Jesus Christ why are you not going for this girl?" The important thing to remember is that this anime doesn't exploit the idea of a brother-complex, but more so makes fun of it. Like, Akiko is annoying and dumb, but like, that's the whole point.

But all the girls themselves are pretty interesting. As far as I can tell none of them (except maybe Akiko) are too stereotypical. In fact if you look at it by the time you get halfway through the show isn't really about the incestuous relationship in the title. The best part of the whole series BY FAR has to be Gin's backstory with Akito, about the way the became friends. It was just so cute and funny and heartwarming and ugghghghghhg.

On top of that I thought the whole thing was genuinely funny. The humour wasn't confined to obvious "oops I slipped and landed on oni-chan's crotch" jokes; there was a good mix of funny animations and well written humour. Ana was particularly well done, being so deadpan and confusing really added something to the show.

Tbf the only negative things I would say are that the final episode didn't really wrap things up too well (though there might be second season?) and that it became a little bit fan-servicey at some points...just some angles left me thinking about how unnecessary they were.

SO, if you're looking for a lighthearted but well done romantic thing (and also don't mind the idea of incest) then I'd say definitely check this one out! :D
