Spirit Gun! You know you were all thinking it. yusuke urameshi a punk teen dies one fateful morning and becomes the earths "first"(hint) spirit detective along his journey he shows how a pessimistic punk can be loved. my favorite part of the series is the squabbles between yusuke and kuabara. overall the series is almost perfect it fails to end the series with a grant conclusion, but instead a happy ending.

hiei is proof that being short does not make you weak. he starts weak and grows to be the scariest demon in underworld. hieis best moment came when his back story was revealed( no spoilers)

although i would have liked to see the last arc from the manga into the anime, i feel that they ended the series in a nice way without dragging out how the level of yusuke and company was peeked, and that they achieved untouchable strength.

i recommend watching the series, much watch up to the end of yusukes first mission before dropping the series
