One of those Anime Series that pop up now and again that seem to have gone no where. If you watch be prepared for very little resolution as there are only 26 episodes (where as the Manga is ongoing). The series is high fantasy. Where women imbued with the powers of Yoma (flesh eating, human possessing demons) fight against the Yoma and their, quite literal, inner demons to protect mankind. These women (who call themselves warrorirs but whom everyone else calls Claymore) are under the thumb of the clearly shady Organization. By far the best part of the series is the interactions between the warriors as they try and navigate in a word both hostile and dependent on them, where despite their prowess they have no control over their fate. The villains sidekick and overall storyline are fairly generic if solid. It is the ladies which shine on this one folks
