Okay, after you get past the first 20 episodes of somewhat boring everyday life, it gets really interesting. It introduces the Gangsta Sh*tt Mafiaa and gets all badass. I have to say that the representation of mafia isn't really accurate in the anime however. Still, the story really does get interesting as the Varia arc starts. The fighting and action is great. The character designs are favorable but there is weak character development. (It's often the whole thing about *fighting to protect friends and showing flashbacks of times they had which never happened in the anime* ) TBH, the series has become somewhat mundane for me lately, and my favorite arc remains to be the Varia arc. I often watch it now just to see in what direction the storyline is going and to see the action commence.
