The story is a little bit too focused on swimming. This is good, but not that good, since it made the story fells a little bit repetitive, although it's not that repetitive since the each episoded managed to be as different as possible. However, the story itself is pretty good, although I do admit that the anime aren't subtle enough to hold the story and explanations. It's pretty obvious that the anime held the explanation about Nanase and Rin for too long and it's obvious. But the ending is pretty mainstream, since Iwatobi SC gave Rin a chance to swim, and got disqualified for doing so, even if they won.
The sound. Sometimes I wonder if it's my headphone that is too good, or the sound is actually pretty good. The soundtrack is marvelous, and the soundtrack has alot of details in it. The soundtrack illustrate the anime pretty well.
The character, Haruka Nanase and Rin was in the spotlight for too much. Nagisa and Rei also cathed a lot of attention, but sadly, Makoto was nearly left out from the story. Apart from his closeness to Nanase and his past, we didn't have much time to enjoy Makoto. Matsuoka Go benefits from the minimal amount of female character here, but the character could be developed well if given more amount of details. Nanase was over the top, and denred common sense, but it is good since it is pretty comical. Rin on the other hand was more detailed than Nanase, but boring since it was pretty common in other anime, but the char is pretty good.
I do enjoy this anime, and it totally blew my expectation. I never see an anime that draws the main character body in details consistently, and the story didn't left too many plot holes and consistent right from the start.
