1) Story: The entire concept was a good one. There are a lot of MMORPG-based anime out there, but not as structured as this one. But this only applies to the FIRST ARC ONLY. Right around episode 15 when the story proceeds to the second arc is when everything goes wrong. Wrong.
2) Art, Sound: Amazing. The BGM and animations are perfectly in sync. 9/10
3) Character: 8/10 here, due to the major time-leaps in the anime, some characters seem to have been "left-out." For example, the main characters of this anime are obviously Kirito and Asuna. HOWEVER, after seeing Asuna in the 2nd episode, she doesn't make a significant appearance until sometime after episode 8. Also, she doesn't even appear AT ALL in the second arc until a couple episodes at the end.
4) Enjoyment: Enjoyable! I think what splits this anime down the middle is that there is a CLEAR difference between the people who HATE and people who LOVE this anime. I have nothing to say here except, if you haven't already watched it, go watch it and see for yourself.
