Story: 9 - Moritaka Mashiro is a pretty much normal high schooler except the matter of fact that he can draw well whereas Akito Takagi is overall intelligent and is an aspiring writer. After pestering Mashiro for a while Takagi managed to convince Mashiro to join him in becoming a mangaka duo after which Mashiro promised made a promise with the girl he liked which is that he with Takagi will make a manga so great that it will have a anime adaption while she will become a great seiyuu who will voice the female protagonist in their anime. And that's when their journey to fame begins. I didn't have high expectations from Bakuman as the contents sounded quite boring but I thought I should give it a try and honestly it did exceed my expectations especially how its got that shounen battling (competition for first place) element despite their being no actual battles or any of the sorts which made me impressed.
Art: 8 - The art was really good especially the parts when there was emphasis on the making of manga which was done well.
Sound: 8 - The sound was fitting as it described the situation and emotions of the characters properly which is something neccesory for a shounen anime.
Character: 9 - The characters were done nicely as they had been given the perfect roles especially the supporting characters which had a major impact on the surroundings of our protagonists.
Enjoyment: 8 - I enjoyed this series a lot but I think it felt kind of incomplete but overall this series can be enjoyed by anyone because its really enjoyable.

People who liked: Hataraki Man,Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to,Chihayafuru and Genshiken will like this series due to similar elements.
Overall: 8 - Overall I found this series quite good and this series is recommended for anyone who likes shounen series.
