Boy meets Girl, both develop some sort of relation, relation turns into love, after overcoming a few obstacles the girl and boy start dating, anime ends. Did you ever think what happens after that? That is what this anime explores in this absolutely amazing sequel to the Hit series Clannad.

Story: 10 - This anime picks up straight after where Clannad ends as Tomoya and Nagisa have started dating. This story explores the actual reality and consequences of how the 'rosy' life when you start dating turns out. Also this story explains quite a few things that weren't explained well in Clannad as well as the truth behing the 'Illusionary World'. I thought this anime will just follow the lines of Clannad and the story would just roam around in circles as the anime would show some troubles, the couple will separate and at the end of the day they would come back together but would still be dating. But what I loved about this series was how the story progresses nice and smoothly with the pace not being too fast or slow. The best part would be the matter of fact that after a long time I felt a sequel is better than it's preceder.

Art: 9 - Though I think the art is pretty much the same, I noticed the art more in here than in Clannad as here it's more noticable and it felt much more wonderful. ( I think i'm being biased though because i wasn't particularly fond of Clannad as I am with this series ).

Sound: 9 - The sound was great as it soothed the atmosphere with it's calming soundtrack and the opening and ending songs were great too. I think the voice actors had a much more impact in here as they had a much more deeper role especially the three main protagonists.

Character: 10 - The characters were a surprise but in a good way. I found it amusing the way the characters developed especially Tomoya who developed the most and the consequences turned out really well. Also Ushio's character is another notably well developed character as her personality depended on the way she was raised so it was a nice thing.Though it was kind of expected how Nagisa's character would turn out as and the four main female protagonists in Clannad had their roles reduced a lot more too but overall all of the characters were great.

Enjoyment: 10 - I enjoyed this series a lot as it's not something usually we see ( A character developed young couple whom we get to see marry in front of our eyes ) and it has it's own moments filled with warmth. I think it's a more enjoyabe series than Clannad and this is recommended to anyone.

People who liked: Angel Beats!,AnoHana,Itazura na Kiss,Frruits Basket,Byousoku 5 Centimeters,Kanon,Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki,Air,Kimi ga Nozomu Eien,Mysel;Yourself and Usagi's Drop will enjoy this series a lot but either way this series is suitable for any audience.

Overall: 10 - Though some people may point out flaws or something else but overall it's a great watch filled with mixed emotions yet it's not disorganised or a mashed up piece and is worth a while to watch.
