Story- 9/10 Interesting, entertaining and gets better with development. The only thing I would that is kind of a negative at times wad that her drive to be an amazing actress irritated me but that changes through out the anime.
Characters- 9/10
Kyoko Mogami: I really like Kyoko as a character, she is very different from the usual heroine. She is terrifying, strong, extremely kind, and adorable. Her personality is so funny whether or not she is attacking someone with her aura or doting on Kanae. As she develops we come to understand her heart condition and how deeply she was affected by Sho. I love Kyoko and feel an attachment to her character.
Tsugara Ren: At first I wasn't sure how I felt about him but as the anime goes on I fall in love with him as well. He does under go development in the anime concerning how he had never really loved anyone and how that affects his career and as he comes to understand his feelings. Though the anime only being 25 episodes he left alot of unanswered questions that can only be found in the manga (which I read after the show but is still ongoing).
Fuwa Sho: I will say this straight out, I do not like him. Anime or Manga I don't like him. Though that is my opinion because I love Kyoko, he does under go development further in the anime and you see his feelings change (but only a little). He develops more in the manga by a little, but i still don't like him. One thing I will say is I looked forward to his appearances in the anime because of Mamoru Miyano's performance which was beautiful as always. I really like his song Prisoner as well, I still listen to that :)
There are other characters given development but I'm not going to really talk about them because they are supporting and it would take too long. But I did like Kanae, Maria, the president and Yashiro. I really like how Yashiro shipped Ren and Kyoko :D
Animation- 8/10 Solid and is the embodiment of the Manga which is from the early 2000s. It was pretty normal and solid but nice to look at, I like the chibi appearances which are in the Manga also.
Sound- 7/10 Average, the openings and ending are forgettable and I always skipped. The only memorable performance was by Mamoru Miyano and that was Prisoner which is amazing by its self and I still listen to it.
Problems- The only problem I had with the way things went is that they stopped after 25 episodes when the Manga is still going on and already has over 200 chapters. The manga has been going on for 12 years. Sadly they left it as a "go read the manga" anime and that is disappointing but I did go read the manga and I recommend you do too! I just wish it wasn't uncompleted after 12 years. Which also means there wasn't that much romance in the anime which goes back to the "go read the manga" issue but it is what it is.
Overall- 10/10 This anime was so entertaining and really is a favorite, I give it a 5 our of 5 saying I wish it wasn't over!
