The story had some plot holes, but other than that it's ok.
The art is clean, but also on the average side with some nice effects.
The sound is where it shines,not with the english dub voice acting . . . but with the music.
The characters varied from good to dreadful. The main protagonist, Shirou, is particularly is retarded, but his servant Saber is ok.
As far as enjoyment went, I felt like every episode was just one fight after another. And what really threw my enjoyment of the series out the window was the sketchy hentai-sex type scenes thrown into the middle of it. Made it awkward to watch with my wife.
Pretty mediocre anime by my taste, but seriously, listen to the music and enjoy it.
