This anime started out kind of slow but seemed like it had a lot of potential to me a really interesting mystery series of sorts. The first 3-4 eps are really slow then eps 5-9 were really interesting and had me captivated. Finally the last 3 eps just fell apart. I haven't read the manga so I don't know if it had the same problem but I feel like there was a lot of information and fringe science based ideas that the creator wanted to put into this series then just ran out of time/momentum and tried to finish it up really fast.
On top of that, the seriousness of the anime itself didn't match well with the stereotypical pink haired girl/flash school uniform/weird hair art style and the underlying female harem theme. I feel like there as just way too much going on and none of it fit together well. Some of the characters were cool and the overall story idea itself was interesting but the original mystery/murder concept got resolved very anti-climatically.
All in all I'd say not to bother with this series but if you liked some of this manga-ka's other works you might like this.
