The Story: is something that is getting very common in anime were gamers get trapped in a game and freak out, well i say sword art gave us a good enough romance but rushed it a bit how did he fall in love with her or when did he fall in love with her i say it was never shown but i may be wrong also what happened to some of the bad guys was never shown only told overall some good development with characters so i give the story a 7/10
Next the Art: was Outstanding i can tell they put time into making the background and most of the characters too look as close to the light novel as possible with that being said a 10/10 for the Art.
Sound: that is something i found the most important to get into an anime the sound must be great and a great sound track to have that feeling that you are there without it it would just be plain, but i have seen lots of anime and i cant say Sword Art has the best sound i heard but it up there so those who want good battle music Sword Art got that rating 9/10.
Character: Now some characters i was like wa? is up with them or how does a guy who was only stuck in computer gaming just become a total brute after learning you are stuck in a game, i think some characters were nice and all like Asuna but Kirito was a Brute from the start he didn't even freak out and he acted differently out of nowhere like the never gave a good enough reason to be in rage or something but most of the females were good so i kept on watching rating 7/10.
Enjoyment: Well with this it was enjoying but the enjoyment ended fast but the creators said "hey so people stay tuned lets put a death here and a feel scene here" just to keep us watching but i give them credit if they did not put that in i thought i would have dropped it right after episode 3. rate 7/10
Overall: I think Sword Art Online was good but did not put in the important parts of the Light Novel that we needed to know why this happened and the interactions with Kirito and Asuna i think they fell in love like the snap of my finger but because of the action and the feels i kept and watching so for you anime fans Sword Art Online almost hit my don't watch it level but it made it so i recommed you watch Sword Art Online overall rating 6/10
