What a wonderfully, sad, happy, beautiful story. For the first time in my life a television program, actually brought a tear to my eye watching it.

This is a very simple story about life and the pain and the happiness it can bring with a bit of fantasy thrown in. The plot evolves wonderfully following the life of the two main characters and there friends and family. Through the friends and family is where you get the humour and fun (which is excellent and not over done) but from the two main characters you get the pain and happiness and it lovingly done throughout.

SO A Warning! Before you watch this second season of Clannad get ready for a emotional roller-coaster lol. I never thought I would feel emotions like this coming from animated characters, it just proves that a well told story is all you need.

The animation is beautiful with lovely use of lighting and settings the only problem I had with the animations was the female characters they where all the same except for hair and eye colour not a big fan of the huge eye's type of animation either. But this is only a small gripe the great voice acting makes up for this. Also the sounds and music go well with the series bringing everything together. But it's hands down the characters and there interaction within the storyline that make this anime amazing.

The first series is great and a lot of fun but the second is a master piece that I would recommended to everyone of all ages and sex. Hat's off and a bow to the Clannad creators you did a something truly wondrous.
