Now, I'm the type that likes supernatural and action types of anime. I never really enjoyed romances and slice-of-life, because they seem to always end with a happy ending. I guess...with my experiences, I know that life isn't easy. 5 Centimeters Per Second captured life perfectly. I got so many feels in it that I cried. The story was so realistic, that I can imagine it happening.
The ART, IT WAS AMAZING. I loved it, the gentle warm colors crashes with the hard, dark colors perfectly. Even though at one point I wanted to go back to my action anime part of me and quit, the art got me hooked. It is beautiful, and made the message of the story so much deeper.
The sound was enjoyable. At the ending, I cried so much, that song fit in so well with the story. I never really noticed what the sound was like, because I'm the type that skips the openings to get to the anime >.
