Lucky Star begins as soon as the past can be conceptualised. When dawn falls on eternity, Lucky Star emerges.

Lucky Star sounds like the pop of bubbles breaking the surface tension of conversation. Lucky Star is the truest expression of the high school experience. Lucky Star talks about the newest parts of the past because big minds in small spaces know that there is no such thing as nothing to talk about. Lucky Star talks about what's been on TV lately because that's what you did with the people in high school that maybe you were pretty good acquaintances with but hey it's not like they're your best friend; although Konata and Kagami will probably stay in touch.

Lucky Star knows she is a fiction. Genre is observed and discussed. Then, it is knowingly performed anyway. The characters play at being generic. It's only when you reach the end that you realise there was very little generic about them.

Lucky Star is not for the Cowboy Bebop set. Lucky Star is not Azumanga Daioh. The pedophile is not a caricature. There is nothing respectable about Lucky Star, but Lucky Star is everything respectable about life.

Lucky Star is a big fan of Kyoto Animation. If you like Lucky Star, you will be too.

Lucky Star would rather be in her sailor suit because sailor suits just look better. Lucky Star doesn't mess with rituals.

Lucky Star is not ambrosia. Lucky Star is a chocolate cornet. Lucky Star is a picnic break at the beginning, middle, and end of a long hike. Lucky Star has no transitions and no conventional rewards.

Lucky Star ends where it began. Lucky Star is the only immutable narrative of human life. Lucky Star traces the colors of the sky all the way to the dance routine at the end of the universe. The world ends with Lucky Star.
