I will admit, the anime plot is slightly different from the manga's. I was surprised at this. However, I was indulged in the art style and the component of its coloring scheme. Eventually, the plot ended up working out in a way I still respected.
Character development was simple in my opinion; you can find many of these characters elsewhere in other various anime. However, development in these characters were still displayed beautifully. With it's compelling, dark theme, this anime was quite refreshing and comedic. It was cute in some ways, even humorous at times.
The ost of this anime is gripping. It was a cool opening and various special endings that correlate with the plot. A specific vocal track in the anime can tug at your emotions, and some tracks can make your hair stand on end.
In the short length of this anime, you eventually do get the chance to bond and understand the characters, enabling some sort of emotional connection at specific points.
My main concerns were that this slightly reminded me of a harem at times, and there was a pacing issue at a particular episode which may have been rushed. In your already anime packed filled weekend, it wouldn't hurt to squeeze this in for fun.
