-Story:
.Setting: Clannad revolves around a male protagonist Tomoya Okazaki who hates his everyday life. But his life changes after he meets Nagisa Furukawa, who is actually one year senior to him but is repeating due to illness. After they meet, both of their lives take a three sixty degree turn.
.Review: ~After Story~ is a direct sequel to Clannad and watching Clannad is highly recommended before you jump to ~After Story~. It's really well thought out and brilliantly executed. The first half of After Story follows the same Clannad Storytelling. But the real anime starts after Episode 16. Damn. How can a story be this heart touching. I spent countless hours crying right after watching an episode of After Story. Made me shed manly tears. Some scenes shall stick to my heart for Eternity. It's flawless.
-Art:
The animation was pretty good. KyoAni did an excellent job. The thing I liked the most is the color variation. The camera angles were good too.
-Sound:
Sound was FANTASTIC. At first, I didn't like the OP at all(Toki Wo Kizamu Uta). It took a while to grew on me. The background scores were fitting. Jun Maeda and Shinji Orito did a remarkable task. I still frequent tracks like "Chiisana Te No Hira" and "Dango Daikazoku". If the music wasn't this good, I doubt if I had cried this much. The seiyuu's and English voice actors both did perfect. Tomoya's VA! Oh God. 'Legendaddy'.
-Characters:
Key's works never ceases to shine in this section. I got emotionally attached to Tomoya, Nagisa and Ushio while watching this show. Supporting characters like Youhei,Kyou,Ryou, Kotomi shined bright. Hats off.
-Enjoyment:
I cried countless times while watching Clannad series(Manly tears lol). But the ending made me shed tears of Joy! My favourite series. Clannad series has a rewatch value of infinity.
-Overall:
Clannad is my #1 anime. Couldn't want anything more. Made me a better human being. If you haven't watched it, watch it NOW!
