Something that you hear people say so know and then is: I died watching this anime, well, maybe that's something I did, because it was so well made.
Story 10/10
The story is about a girl and a boy (well, they're not so young anymore..) who are in a war. A lot of drama is there actually,well, for the romance part to be more precisely. A complicated romance but that's maybe just because Welkin is a bit stupid at times. Their are more romances than just of Welkin and Alicia by the way, but it's not that obvious all the time and some of then.. well, it's just not finished because they don't survive, which made me cry again... Well, actually the whole part about the military just thinking it was so true, it made me realise again how awful war is and how crazy the people are who started it. (You can see it from Maximillian who just goes crazy). In the beginning, I didn't like it very much, just thinking about the action that I expected, which was there, but I felt like I missed something, maybe more reality. And that came, it did indeed! I got the feeling that is was touching, I cried so much. Well, it's just how real war is, you'll lose friend... That's what I didn't actually like about this anime, but that's just the reality.. But the the story as one was really good, actually it was great. I was really moved when I was watching and finished watching this, it actually stayed in my mind for a long time...

Actually, I don't have to say a lot about this, just thinking it was pretty good, but the sound just is something that is important to an anime, but when I watch an anime, I don't listen just precisely to the music, it just flows into you.

Alicia has a great personality, she is strong and has her own opinion, of course, she has her girl-side to, and she is caring. Well, I think this is what I liked about her.
Welkin is a bit... well, he wanders away with his thoughts and is just weird at times. But he knowes what to do if it's nescessarry. But what about the romance part of this story, yes, he was not good at that part, to slow to see things, in the end, it was good though.
He is not the main-main person, but I also want to say something about Faldio. He's the guy that is a good friend of Welkin and also falls in love with Alicia. But he's the kind of guy who knows what to do when it comes to love. He teases her now and then which I actually liked.
The other characters... well, every character had their personallity and I didn't hate a single one of them. (Maybe that's not true, but I disliked only 2 people or something like that) From their movements you can exactly know what kind of persons they are and they actually have a nice side, well, most of them. I lied the story's of everyone of them, and I didn't mind that they also put these stories in the anime.
One thing I want to say is that I also loved Ramal and Isara, well, I loved almost all the characters..

Why 9 out of 10, well, it's good, funny at some times, I liked the action, the romance part, the drama at some parts but the whole part that made me cry, is, well, not really that much of enjoyment... that's why I gave it a 9.
It's just so sad to watch so many people die. And, I have to say that when some people did die, I was just like, well, that person died, so that other person also doesn't really have a meaning anymore, and a few episodes later it was like, that other person died too... and I cried a lot, AGAIN, really, this was just an anime that made me cry, and cry, of course, a lot of good moments, I wouldn't say that this anime is just one big one of a tragedy.. I won't tell who it was, but the one person that died before the last one, just thinking that wasn't fair at all! Actually, all the deaths weren't fair, that's why I cried so much. Just true so I had to say it...
I already told that I liked this anime very much, even because of the very sad moments, I thought it was really good, and it changed my way of thinking a bit. Again made it realise me that war is horrible. The only thing I want to say in the end is that, the very-very end, so the last part when the fighting is over, is happy, so don't be afraid of that :)
