A very addicting anime, has many positive things as well as negative things.
Being a survival game type anime, you already know you are gonna be hyped up.
BUT question is, does it portray it well? = YES AND NO
YES because the story is quite unique and it is a survival game type anime and so it automatically gets a 9 from me bros. It is quite emotional at some scenes as well and comedy is decent.
NO because the comedy presented can sometimes be viewed quite lamely, the characters and their designs make me want to puke and vomit so bad sometimes, it just ruins the seriousness and dark tone of the anime.
Story 9: Win, like I mentioned above, it is about diary holders who have been given diaries and each diary has specific different abilities and uses and can predict the future in different ways. They have to kill each other before the deadline, where the God dies and thus as a result, the world is destroyed as well. For that reason, one winner (a diary user) will have to be the last one remaining so they can become the new God of a new world.
Art 7: There are some evident mistakes in the art at times, and it isn't really beautiful like some art of some anime can be (e.g psycho-pass, guilty crown and angel beats) and the art is a bit un-elegant and old. it looks childish in many aspects.
Sound 9: me gusta
Opening 1 and ending 2 were good, and also the emotional soundtracks that were used during the sad scenes.
Characters 3: LOL There are like 12 diary users and about 5 die off already in the first 5 episodes when there are 26 LOL. Pacing is done badly, and could have been better.
The character designs make me laugh like cow and sheep stock. Makes me vomit on the screen, and piss on the floor. The main boy protagonist is a wuss and the only likeable character is Yuno, who is a freaky psycho maniac good looking girl with mental issues. The horrible designs of some of the diary holder characters drive the dark and serious mood and atmosphere away from the anime.
Enjoyment 9: Gets Really addicting like MALTESERS chocolate~
Overall 9: Sure, why not? it is a good anime despite the flawswhich make you become cows used on a field for agricultural reasons.
