5 centimeters a second. The title comes into the story quite early. But the significance is fairly strong throughout the story. It serves as a reminder for the main character of what he had done in the past.

I was rather surprised that there was no ending - If you watch you'll know what I mean. But because of that it made the story rather special and intriguing in many ways. It has no climax and allows you to sit back, relax and observe how a young boy and a girl's friendship or love plays out.

The soundtrack is rather soothing and it captures the heart of the audience. It identifies those in the Audience who can relate to it, to empathise with the characters. The art was very detailed especially the colours.

The story does not revolve around one, but it let you explore through the eyes of a few, allowing you to decide for yourself what to think about it. The development of the plot is quite interesting as it continues.

Like I said, The story brings around different perspectives of few and allows the audience to take home different messages and views on the series. I believe that there is no sole perspective that can be given on this.

The series presents 'normal' boy and girl harnessing 'true love' for each other, it gradually shows how their love is slowly dissolved into their surroundings when they meet new people. Little do they know that others are greatly affected by it. It all emphasises on theme of Relationship vs Distance or maybe even Relationship vs Time. It shows that no matter how strong one's love is, in most cases it would disappear. No individual could survive on one lady/man without interacting with the other party alone. But even as they progressed on with their lives, they still could not forget about each other.

In addition, the poetic style of their choice of words were simply amazing. Not to mention, the way they constructed the story was in a very special literature way.

In conclusion, this story should not be missed. The testing of relationships. The fear of forgetting. The power of love. Its all in there. What you choose to take home is yours to decide.
