Let me start out by saying my review is going to be straight to the point and not paint a broad picture of what I am trying to say like most reviews do. This anime started out, for me at least, being a well-drawn placeholder until my favorites of the next season started airing.... but this was the epitome of ignorance on my part. This anime broadsided me with a down to earth main character, lovable side characters and even memorable characters that only show for a single episode!

On to the story. My god, this was good. I expected to be bored to tears, but it was the complete opposite. It literally draws you in and keeps you entertained as you watch this young man learn from his own mistakes and misgivings to develop into a truly wonderful human being. I have never thought about becoming a farmer in my entire life, but if it was half as fun as this anime showed, albeit the show did a good job showing off how hard it is as well, count me in!

10/10, saving this one for a rewatch come December, to get ready for January!
