God's notepad. NEET Detectives. Yakuza. Ramen Shops. This show has all of them and more. Alice is a 12 year old detective. Not just any detective, a NEET detective, and speaker for the dead. She can solve almost any crime right from her bedroom. One day she sends out her three lackeys that do her legwork to gather information about a missing prostitute. At the scene of the crime they meet Fujishima Narumi, an innocent high school bystander, with no real friends who constantly moves from town to town. Later on, one of his "friends" drags him to a Ramen shop where he again meets these three lackeys. Narumi is shoehorned into carrying a meal of Ramen up to Alice who lives in the apartment complex above the Ramen shop. Somehow or another, Narumi ends up being Alice's personal assistant which means he does everything for her, from laundry to opening he cans of soda because she is physically unable to do so. From there, he solves multiple crimes involving drug rings, Yakuza, money laundering, all under the supervision of Alice.

It sounds weird, I know, but this anime really is good. Nothing supernatural or crazy ever happens, its just a different view of life. The mysteries are like those out of detective novels, and Alice's sharp brain, yet childish behavior and superior attitude are adorable. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys detective anime.
