When I first saw this anime I thought, "Who would watch something like this? it looks stupid." But I still gave it a shot, and am now a major fan. This anime is great for first time watchers because it has a little bit of everything, without going overboard.

Cinque is a gymnastics master, athletic in every way possible. And he is also a hero. Not by choice of course. Princess Milchore of Biscotti summoned him to their world. A happy world that anyone would want to live in. In Biscotti, everyone is part animal, with little ears and tails for everything from rabbits to dogs. And every single one of them is adorable. Even their wars are adorable. The enemies line up to fight one another, but instead of dying, when 'killed' they turned into little fluffy animal plushies and are revived later. Their is no hate between countries.

So why do they need a hero?

Because not everything is going well. Milchore's close friend Leonmichelli, Queen of Galette, a city where everyone is part cat, is constantly fighting against Biscotti. And Biscotti always loses to the Cat Queen. In hopes of finally winning a war game, and making up with her old enemy, Milchore summons Cinque to fight for her in the games.

It manages to have a tone of seriousness, without being violent, but rather adorable. Even without hate, or malice, this anime managed to keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time i watched it, and I am anxiously awaiting the next season of this amazing anime.
