Don't let the first ten minutes of the first epi scare you. It's very violent, loud, and filled with nudity. While this is an attention-grabbing introduction, most of the rest of the series is not all boobs and guns. The story is very original, and while the main character Lucy/Nyuu can be very violent, she is also a very well developed character (no pun intended, really), and her story as well as her relationships with the other characters is very well thought out and original. Great story, great artwork, great action, great characters.
