Little offtopic: the first time I saw this anime something about 2 months after i had opened for me whole new world of anime and a month from the end of school.What can I say about that first experience:it was pratfall.I lasted only 8 minutes.My brain refused to digest it. A second attempt was also unsuccessful, but this time i held on the whole series!
Many months later which i spent frantically watching anime, and on the advice of one of my best friends, I still went back to it.
And what awaited of that attempt: another failure, but my expectations did not materialize.It totally tightened me in.I watched at one time all 24 episodes and ova.
But let's go back to the very anime.
History.
In general, if i look from the top of the mountain consisting of viewed anime, it is not anything unique, but at the same time it is surprisingly attractive.It describes the everyday life of ordinary highschoolers,and lool like quite common
amusement for teenagers,even with a few hypertrophic comicality .
This is what anime is quite possible to judge on the first series, because it contains a concentrated content that is waiting for you throughout all 24 episodes.It is like you are looking at your own friends company at that memorable time of new interests,meeting new people and all in this spirit.
Animation.
All I can say about the animation is that it is almost minimalist in almost every aspect.But, not without a certain charm.I believe it will have its supporters and detractors, but personally for me it is very suitable to what is happening on the screen.
Sound.
Voice actors perfectly reflect the mood and spirit of characters.I believe that in this aspect no one will be disappointed.Frankly speaking I personally watched it with only One MALE not professional voice acting in my own language first two times,but with time I appreciate the charm of the original voice acting anime and moved to the subtitles, which are now on the automatic scroll seiyuu voices in my head.
Characters.
You will see when viewing: Konata Izumi - otaku on his head: she is interested in everything related to anime, manga, online games, and cosplay. Sport, education and social progress took her much less. Miyuki Takara - embodied moe-kawaii: she touchingly awkward, angelic kind and wears glasses. Tsukasa Hiiragi - "eternal brake", blessed quiet, phlegmatic, and her Twins Kagami - purposeful egocentric.
And their friendship is simple: opposites meet, If you like the occasional funny situations, then you will definitely get a lot of pleasure. especially when studying in the same class / school ...
Personally, I got an incredible pleasure of watching them in the process of viewing.

If you like random funny situations, you definitely get a lot of enjoyment.I got it, maybe it is even beyond measure: in the first 2-3 days after the end of the viewing I could not remove the stupid smile off my face, that is quite puzzling others, especially my unsuccessful attempts to hide it (and this is why they were puzzled by that: the fact that a smile on my face is not too frequent visitor, at least, if not in solitude or in the company of close friends).

Personally, I can only hope that helped you with the preliminary decision to watch or not watch this great (in my opinion) anime.I think what it's normal if you don't like Lucky Star from the first sight,so try to come back to it a bit later.
