Sakurasou is an anime that, while it has it's flaws,
doesn't fail to show what it has to offer.

The story is above average, meaning that while it's good Sakurasou isn't a romantic comedy slice of life that broke any new boundaries.

Sakurasou's art is fairly fluent and pleasant to look at, including the characters. It uses very bright and vibrant colors for the right moments made clear in the very first episode, and beautiful darker scenes when things get out of hand.

There weren't many background tracks that caught my interest but the songs that stood out the most were without a doubt the endings and openings (especially the second ending theme 'Yume no Tsuzuki'). I didn't have and problems with any of the voice actors because it really felt like they fit their characters.

Speaking of characters, to be honest, they're kinda not normal, (which is most likely due to them living in Sakurasou, the "special" section of their high school's dorms) and this adds sooo much to these characters. They contrasted each other, but for some reason created a great chemistry and atmosphere. Not to say that they were perfect though since there were a few times I wanted to deck the MC for being overly aggressive.

Sakurasou is one of those anime I just have trouble putting down. Even when I'm busy with something important, I just had the urge to watch until the end. As a side note if you happen to enjoy it as much as I do, it might be good to know they sometimes have short clips after the ending song.

Overall I liked just about every main lead, and didn't have very many problems with getting to the end. Thought it isn't a "must watch" it was an enjoyable experience.
