Story:
It starts out introducing the characters in a way it seems many people would write the show off as bad from that point including a panty shot within the first five minutes however the show does a beautiful job of introducing the characters from the point of view from the main character. From there the show only gets better as it begins moving into plot. The thing that is so great about this show is that it had more of a realistic feel than most considering that a lot of the show was focused on success/failure and natural talent/hard work. The show is extremely funny in times and then utterly crushing as the theme of hard work doesn't always pay off comes into play however those two never competed with each other and always worked together seamlessly. The show moved along very naturally in a way that kept me clicking on the next episode constantly. For me the ending was great but I've heard many people feel it was a tad of a cop out, which shows it just depends on personal preference.

Art:
The art was beautiful. The characters were crisp but the reason it got a 9 instead of an 8 is because of how beautiful certain scenery was. One scene that pops to mind is in the first episode in which a sakura leaf (I believe 0_0) introduces one of the main characters. The art involving how the wind is moving not just nature but also this character's hair is stunning. That is not the only thing though, just one example.

Sound:
I can't really talk about voice actors because I usually see no issue with VA's at all until it becomes dubbed but I can talk about the ending song to the first half of the show. Days of Dash sums up the meat of this show so amazingly that I fell in love with it. "Watching the days go by, my heart feels empty, I haven't left my mark, I'm here, I exist," are the first few lines of the song. Those lines resonate strongly with the show's theme of finding your place in the world and succeeding and as a freshman in college, they spoke strongly to me as well. Outside of lyrics, the song still sounds beautiful and the opening has a sweet tune.

character:
Without the characters, the story could not exist because the story is all about the characters' struggle to find their place in the world. The characters experience emotions so real that I couldn't help but empathize with them. The whole show felt very real which is ninety-percent due to how realistic the characters were. They all had strengths that another would envy because of his or her flaws and just as actual humans, tend not to realize that they have something that others envy.

enjoyment:
If you enjoy slice of life, then this is as real as you could get without it becoming a documentary. I believe many would enjoy this show.
