Story (8/10):
This is one of a kind anime. Using game and create it in motion picture is great. It creates a whole new experience to watch and enjoy. The story itself is pretty good. The players are stuck inside the virtual reality game and not be able to log out. And they fight their way through that world to survive. And the sequence of SAO makes it really attention grabbing. But one thing I don't like about the story is it is mixed with nude and sexual scene. To me, adding them is really distracting. At first I really enjoy it, but then when those scenes pop up, I feel disappointed. Can't the writer come up with anything else besides those 18+ scene.
Art (10/10):
The art is nicely executed. The character is beautiful. And the environment is detailed. After all, it tries to bring VRMMORPG experience to life.
Sound (10/10):
I got nothing against the sound of this Sword Art Online. Good sound effect, music, opening and ending theme are great. Really enjoy it.
Character (9/10):
Unique personality to each character, how they make decision, how they act are quite descriptive. This anime not only focuses on providing a good story, but also gives a nice information about each character.
Overall (8/10):
Overall, I really enjoy the whole show and very aspects of SAO except for the part that includes nude scene which reduces my moment toward this anime. If only there were no those scene, I would rate it 10 out of 10. Still, I look forward to watch the second season of Sword Art Online.
